Our Mission
At Project Judah Bear, we provide essential support to families with babies in the NICU. Our care packages are thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and practical assistance to caregivers during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
Each care package includes items parents may need if they are unable to leave the hospital for an extended period, as well as small touches to care for their baby, provide comfort for themselves, and offer bedside activities. Every package is assembled with love, attention, and care.
Introducing the Story Care Cart (launching soon)
The Story Care Cart is a mobile resource named in loving memory of Story, a precious baby who was stillborn in March. This cart is designed to bring comfort, encouragement, and practical resources directly to NICU families at Texas Children’s NICU.
Stocked with self-care items, coloring books, journals, and (pending approval) books parents can read at the bedside, including baby books to share with their little ones, the Story Care Cart helps families feel supported and seen during their NICU journey.
Social workers will bring the cart to any family who requests it, and volunteers and donors make this resource possible.
How You Can Help:
-
Donate: Your contribution helps keep the Story Care Cart stocked with essential items and books.Â
-
Volunteer: Help prepare materials, create bedside activities, or participate in stocking the cart. Sign up on our social media channels for current volunteer opportunities.
We are grateful for every act of support that helps us bring comfort, hope, and love to families in the NICU.
